How we work

Every engagement starts with understanding the invention and the goal behind it. From there, we recommend the most sensible next step — sometimes a prior-art search, sometimes a provisional to lock in a date, sometimes a full nonprovisional application. We draft to read on your invention, respond to §101, §102, §103, and §112 rejections with reasoned arguments and amendments, and keep the business objective in view the whole way.

Ben is a registered patent agent, and the practice is focused on patent prosecution and IP strategy before the USPTO. A patent agent is not an attorney, so we don't provide legal advice outside the scope of patent practice, and we'll say plainly when a question calls for a licensed attorney.
